Grandmaster Jimmy H. Woo

Jimmy H. Woo (Chin Siu Dek) brought Kung Fu San Soo to the United States in the mid-1930's. At that time, he taught only Chinese and Chinese-Americans. Convinced that this art should be more widely available to all who wanted to learn this Chinese fighting art, he opened the first school in the contiguous united states in El Monte in 1958. He taught there until his death in 1991.
