Kung Fu San Soo

Kung fu is the english term referring to the chinese martial arts, known in various forms in china since well before the christian era. San Soo has been in Jimmy H. Woo's family for more than five generations. First used on battlefields, it is now favored for self defense and exercise. San Soo is a fighting art, not a sport, combining the fighting techniques of the five family systems. San Soo is based on various combinations of strikes, blocks, punches, and kicks to vital points of the human body by utilizing principles of physics involving movement and leverage, proper breathing, agility, concentration, and balance. These techniques can be changed instantly to suit the situation and do not necessarily follow any set pattern.

A Kung Fu San Soo fighter can demonstrate incredible dominance in almost any conflict or situation. By training the mind and body to work in synchronous unison, the fighter learns to develop his concentration and then use what is referred to in the art of Kung Fu San Soo as “total body movement”. This enables the execution of any technique with the full weight and movement of his body. One might also refer to this art as “reaction fighting”, the act of total surprise, where the defender immediately turns into the offender.
